After visiting Kolob's Canyon and Cedar Breaks Monument, we took off from Cedar City for Las Vegas. On the way along I-15 there were a few construction areas. Once in Las Vegas, staying at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino, we watched the local TV news and learned that there was a flash flood along the area we just drove about an hour earlier. The freeway was covered with mud and drivers had to be rescued. The road was closed for days.
